As a member of our Development team, you will dive right into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. You'll join an inspiring and curious team of engineers dedicated to develop and deploy large scale infrastructure solutions that supports JPMC's diverse and critical businesses. You will be using the latest technologies, data management and security practices in all aspect of software development. You not only like to write code, but you actively participate in architectural designs and support your proposals with solid engineering principles. What you will be doing:
  • Develop features and new applications to support our internal IT Supply Chain team.
  • Design your features from the ground-up, modeling the data up to the user interface.
  • Seek improvement opportunities across all our DevOps functions (work with Jenkins pipelines and observability tools such as Splunk, Grafana).
  • Work with business users to identify opportunities to make their lives easier by automating manual work.
  • Share your knowledge and learn with other members of the team.
  • Work with Agile methodology.
  • Do demos of your developments and work closely with business users.

What you'll need:
  • BS degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience working with :
    • At least one of the following backend languages: Java / NodeJS / Python
    • At least one of the following frontend: ReactJS /Angular.
    • Advanced general SQL knowledge. We use MySQL or Oracle.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a high pressure, mission-critical environment .
  • Experience working with any public or private cloud implementations.

Any of this is a plus:
  • Knowledge on observability tools such as Splunk, Grafana.
  • Experience working with application performance benchmarking tools.
  • You are familiar with SRE concepts.
